Nolan Williams, Jr., Founder & Music Director

Since their debut on the international stage in 2007, performing four major concerts for Italy’s celebrated Amalfi Coast Music & Arts Festival, NEWORKS VOICES OF INSPIRATION (NVoI) has emerged as one of the most sought-after choral aggregations specializing in African American sacred music. Theirs is a fresh sound, punctuated by their ability to move effortlessly from anthems to spirituals, from multicultural music to gospel songs. NVoI has been featured in performance at the White House, the United States Supreme Court, the Library of Congress, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and the National Theatre. In 2012, VOI traveled to Cairo, Egypt to perform in an international choral festival by invitation of the U.S. State Department. Standout performances include: two concert programs with the National Symphony Orchestra; the 95th birthday celebration for TV producer and icon Norman Lear; the National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony; the Nancy Hanks Lecture, presented by Americans for the Arts; and, the Time-Life/BET infomercial, VOICES.
